Student Outcomes Surveys

The BC Post-Secondary Outcomes Project collects outcomes information from former BC post-secondary students through several annual surveys. The surveys include questions related to the evaluation of education, further education and employment outcomes.

The Baccalaureate Graduate Survey (BGS) collects information from graduates of baccalaureate programs at BC's public post-secondary institutions. Since 2005, the BGS survey has included baccalaureate graduates from research-intensive universities, teaching-intensive universities, community colleges and institutes.

The BC Diploma, Associate Degree, and Certificate Student Outcomes (DACSO) survey collects information from former students of diploma, associate degree and certificate programs at BC’s public post-secondary institutions. This includes teaching-intensive universities, community colleges and institutes.

• DACSO (Diploma, Associate Degree, and Certificate Student Outcomes)

The Apprenticeship Student Outcomes (APPSO) survey collects information from students who have completed apprenticeship programs at BC’s public and private post-secondary institutions. The survey includes students from teaching-intensive universities, community colleges and institutes, as well as private apprenticeship training providers.

The Developmental Student Outcomes (DEVSO) survey collects information from former upper-level ABE and ESL students at BC’s public post-secondary institutions. This includes teaching-intensive universities, community colleges and institutes.
