Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Programs

Ike Barber Transfer Scholarship - These scholarships are available to students who are transferring from a B.C. public institution to another public post-secondary institution within B.C. to complete their undergraduate degree. Up to 150 scholarships of $5,000 each are awarded annually.

One World Scholarship for Study Outside B.C. - Up to 400 scholarships of $1,000 - $3,000 are available annually for students who are participating in study/work activities outside of North America.

Premier’s One World Scholarship - Up to five scholarships of $20,000 each are available annually to B.C. public post-secondary students wishing to pursue post-secondary education abroad.

Pacific Horizons Scholarship - This scholarship assists B.C. students in cultural or language learning studies abroad. Up to 50 scholarships of $1,000 each are available annually.

One World Scholarship for Study in B.C. - Up to ten scholarships of $10,000 each are available each year for students coming to study in B.C. from a designated country. This scholarship is currently available to students from the People's Republic of China.

Irving K. Barber B.C. Aboriginal Student Awards Program - This awards program is open to Aboriginal students in the province, to increase opportunities to start, stay in and succeed in higher education. Awards of $1,000 - $3,500 are available for Aboriginal people pursuing post-secondary education that is at least nine weeks long.
