Irving K. Barber British Columbia International Scholarship Programs (for study/work and travel overseas)

One World Scholarship and Pacific Horizons Scholarship

Irving K. Barber British Columbia International Scholarships will be given to British Columbia students who are chosen, on a competitive basis, from a pool of eligible applicants pursuing part of their post-secondary studies, co-op experiences, internships, and other approved experiential learning activities overseas. Successful applicants must clearly demonstrate academic merit as well as links between their study/work abroad experience and their educational and personal goals.

Number and value of scholarships

One World Scholarship: Subject to the revenue generated on the scholarship endowments, between 200 and 400 scholarships worth $1,000 – $3,000 each are expected to be awarded every year.

Pacific Horizons Scholarship: Subject to the revenue generated on the scholarship endowments, up to 50 scholarships worth $1,000 each are expected to be awarded every year.
