Programs for First-time Students

If you are a student who is attending post-secondary education for the first time, there are programs you may be eligible for.

Canada access grant for students from low-income families - This federal program may help you meet up to 50 per cent of your post-secondary tuition costs.

Millennium access bursary - This bursary is given automatically to dependent students who apply for student loans, whose parental contribution is assessed at less than $1,000, and who meet all bursary eligibility criteria.
