Adult basic education student assistance program
This provincial program helps adults enrolled in skills upgrading, education and training courses such as:
- Adult Basic Education (academic upgrading)
- Adult Special Education
- English as a second language
The program provides grants to help meet direct educational costs including tuition fees, books, supplies and if applicable, transportation and unsubsidized childcare costs. The amount awarded to you is based on a standard need-assessment procedure.
How to apply
To apply for this progarm you must be an adult attending a B.C. public post-secondary institution. For more information and an application form, contact the financial aid office at your institution.
