The Student Transitions Project
|
Information Sharing Agreement
The Student Transitions Project Information Sharing Agreement was signed by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development, the Ministry of Education and B.C.'s public universities in May 2005. Under the agreement, data is exchanged to track student outcomes and transitions from the kindergarten to Grade 12 education system to the public post-secondary education system.
The agreement and its appendices set out the terms and conditions under which data will be shared, and also establish a steering committee to oversee research done under the project.
Data Access Policy
The Student Transitions Project Data Access Policy guides the Steering Committee in deciding who can access STP data and under what conditions. The policy is reviewed annually.
