Monthly Labour Market Snapshot

This summary is based on Labour Force Survey results that are released by Statistics Canada on a monthly basis. Estimates are produced for all of Canada, as well as for each of the provinces and select sub-provincial regions.

Labour Force Survey data are used to present labour market information such as, employment rates, unemployment rates and participation rates. Labour Force Survey data presents data by occupation and industry, as well as demographic characteristics such as age and gender. Immigration and Education and Training data included in this summary are not from the Labour Force Survey.
