Universities
Capilano University has campuses in North Vancouver, Squamish and Sechelt. The university offers offer preparatory courses; first- and second-year arts and sciences courses; bachelor’s degree programs in business, jazz studies, tourism, and music therapy; programs in creative and applied arts; and health and human services programs. The university also provides a range of services to support student learning and success.
The Emily Carr University of Art and Design is devoted to education and research in visual arts, media arts and design. Founded in 1925, Emily Carr University is one of the oldest post-secondary institutions in B.C. Its main campus is in the heart of Vancouver on Granville Island.
Kwantlen Polytechnic University serves students in Langley, Richmond and Surrey. Students can choose from a variety of applied and technical programs leading to diplomas and certificates or degrees. Kwantlen Polytechnic also offers a wide range of trades, technology and apprenticeship training programs.
Royal Roads University offers programs primarily to professionals working in the global economy. The university has three faculties – management, social and applied sciences and tourism and hotel management – and several centres including applied leadership and management, health leadership and research and non-timber resources. Most programs are at the master degree level, although the university also offers several undergraduate completion degrees (equivalent to years three and four). Degree programs are usually offered through a combination of Internet-based learning and short, on-site residencies at RRU's campus in Greater Victoria.

Simon Fraser University offers bachelor, master and doctoral degree programs to more than 30,000 full-time and part-time students each year.
