Colleges
Camosun College serves Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, with two campuses in Greater Victoria to meet the post-secondary educational needs of more than 8,600 full-time students each year. Students have a choice of more than 100 diploma, certificate, associate degree and bachelor degree programs, and more than 400 university transfer courses in arts and science, business, health and human services, and trades and technologies. There are also more than 10,500 registrants in Camosun’s non-credit continuing education programs.

The College of New Caledonia serves student in B.C.'s central Interior with seven campuses: a main campus in Prince George and six regional campuses in Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Fraser Lake, Mackenzie, Quesnel and Vanderhoof, plus one learning centre in Valemount. The College of New Caledonia offers university credit, developmental, technical, vocational and industry training programs including business, health science, applied sciences, social services, tourism, and trades and apprenticeship programs. It also develops and delivers courses and programs to meet the training needs of Aboriginal communities and business and industry across its region.

The College of the Rockies, in the southeast corner of British Columbia, has a main campus in Cranbrook and five regional campuses in Creston, Fernie, Invermere, Golden and Kimberley. Programs and courses include training in lifestyle and sport management, recreation and hospitality management, ecotourism leadership, adventure tourism business management, and mountain adventure skills training. The college also offers a range of regular program options including criminal justice, information technology, tourism and hospitality programs, office administration and technology, business administration, pre-medical studies, first and second-year university studies, child, youth and family studies, teacher training, health and trades programs, as well as programs and services for adults returning to school.
Douglas College, a major community college with campuses in New Westminster and Coquitlam, offers a variety of associate degrees, career programs, university transfer courses, college preparatory programs and customized training. Douglas College also provides specialized short-duration courses for students who need to upgrade literacy or study skills, or who are interested in short-term continuing education courses.

Langara College provides certificate, diploma, associate degree and applied bachelor degree programs as well as first-year and second-year university transfer courses. Langara also offers continuing studies courses and programs. Curricula are based on an integrated and cross-disciplinary approach. Langara's Vancouver facilities include two main instructional buildings that house lecture theatres, multi-use classrooms, study and seminar rooms, science laboratories, technical-vocational workrooms, athletic facilities and studios for cultural and performing arts.

Okanagan College offers academic, developmental, trades, technology vocational programs and continuing education. The college has campuses in Kelowna, Salmon Arm, Vernon and Penticton, and educational centres throughout the region. Okanagan College collaborates with the University of British Columbia – Okanagan to expand its presence in area communities, creating more choice in advanced education.
North Island College serves the northern two-thirds of Vancouver Island and the mainland coast from Desolation Sound to Swindle Island. The college has campuses in Courtenay, Campbell River, Port Hardy and Port Alberni, plus centres in other communities throughout the college region. North Island College offers both classroom instruction and distance learning in academic, developmental, trades, technology, vocational and continuing education programs.
Northern Lights College serves northern B.C. from the Alaskan Panhandle to the Alberta border through its seven campuses: Dawson Creek (administrative centre), Atlin, Chetwynd, Dease Lake, Fort St. John, Fort Nelson, and Tumbler Ridge. The college offers developmental, career technical, vocational and industry training programs including business, education, health, oil and gas, resource management, tourism and social services, as well as, trades and apprenticeship programs. Northern Lights works with regional industry, business, Aboriginal communities and government to develop and offer programs that prepare students for work across the region.
Northwest Community College has 10 campuses to serve B.C.’s Northwest: Terrace (administrative centre), Hazelton, Houston, Kitimat, Masset, Prince Rupert, Queen Charlotte City, Skidegate, Smithers and the Nass Valley, the latter through an arrangement with Wilp Wilxo’oskwhl Nisga’a, a private Aboriginal institution. The college’s region encompasses the territories of eight different First Nations, and almost 40 per cent of its students are Aboriginal. A First Nations Council provides consultation with First Nations communities and advice in developing culturally relevant programs. Northwest Community College offers university credit, developmental, career technical, vocational and industry training programs, including business, health, human, marine training and natural resources as well as trades and apprenticeship programs. The college also provides specific programs for First Nations and for the mining industry.
Selkirk College, which serves the West Kootenay/Boundary Region, has campuses in Castlegar, Trail, Nelson and Grand Forks, as well as adult learning centres in Kaslo and Nakusp. Selkirk offers adult upgrading, university transfer associate degrees in arts and sciences, and over 30 certificate and diploma programs in business and aviation, digital media, music, information technology, health and human services, hospitality and tourism, industry and trades training and renewable resources.

Vancouver Community College serves more than 26,000 students a year at its Broadway and downtown campuses, with programming ranging from basic literacy through certificates and diplomas to applied bachelor’s degrees. The college offers full and part-time upgrading and career programs in health sciences, hospitality, business, English as a second language, adult basic education, career access, music, transportation trades and technology.
