Private and Out-of-Province Public Institutions - Organization Review Self Study Criteria

Under the Degree Authorization Act, the Minister of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development is responsible for establishing and publishing criteria that apply for the purposes of giving or refusing consent, or attaching terms and conditions to consent.

Criteria

On Dec. 11, 2006, the following criteria came into effect for new submissions or applications for renewal of consent. These criteria have been developed in consultation with post-secondary system stakeholders and the Degree Quality Assessment Board and replace the Organization Profile and Organization Review established in November 2003.
