Private and Out-of-province Public Institutions - This section provides information that private and out-of-province public post-secondary institutions will need before they apply for ministerial consent to provide, advertise or grant degrees in British Columbia.

About the Board - The Degree Quality Assessment Board reviews and makes recommendations to the Minister of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development on applications for new degree programs and exempt status submitted by B.C. public post-secondary institutions and private and out-of-province public post-secondary institutions and use of the word “university” submitted by private and out-of-province public post-secondary institutions.

Online Application System - The Post-secondary Institution Proposal System is a web-based application for the submission and review of degree program proposals, applications for exempt status, and use of the word “university”.
