How to Access the Disability Resource Centre (DRC)
- Book an appointment by calling (604) 451-6963 or TTY (604) 432-8954.
- Provide most recent educational record.
- Documentation/Assessment of disability is required for support services.
Special Services/Equipment Available to Students
DRC supports students with disabilities in attaining their educational and vocational goals. Career, educational and vocational rehabilitation counseling is offered related to course/program interests. In addition, accommodations such as alternate format books, interpreting services, exam accommodations, access technology, etc. can be provided with appropriate documentation.
Interpreting Services
Students should request interpreting services at least four months before classes start to ensure their language needs are met.
Alternate Format Texts and Adaptive Technology
Students should apply for taped textbooks and/or adaptive technology at least four months before the beginning of classes.
