Adult Basic Education Student Assistance Program

Special grants are available for adults at public post-secondary institutions in B.C. taking one of the following programs:

  1. English as a second language
  2. Adult basic education (academic upgrading or pre-vocational programs)
  3. Adult special education

If you are enrolled in one of these programs and can show you need financial aid, you may be able to receive a provincial government grant that will help you pay for:

  • Books
  • Supplies
  • Tuition (if applicable)
  • Transportation (in some cases)
